Introducing...'Faux'tmeal! Our hemp seed heart take on traditional oatmeal with fresh berries and nuts added in for a sweet finish! A single bowl of this is a full meal and is nutrient dense providing a great deal of protein, probiotics, and a omega-3 fatty acids. It has high fiber content and is a low carb option for those of you who would like to remain in ketosis, but miss oatmeal. Without the berries, shaved coconut, and walnuts, this dish can also be heated and be served warm. When left to sit overnight, the hemp hearts absorb a great deal of the extra liquid leave you with a thick and hearty breakfast dish. We've also tried other options like adding powdered, sugar free apple cider mix to make apple cinnamon 'faux'tmeal. We are excited to see what you can come up with!  10 tbsp Hemp Seed Hearts
 0.50 cup Culinary Coconut Milk
 2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
 0.50 cup Greek Yogurt
 0.50 cup Stevia (or another natural or low/no calorie sweetener)
 1 tsp Spices (1 tsp. of each: Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cloves, Allspice, Chili Pepper)
 2 pinches Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
 0.50 cup Walnuts
 1 Egg Whites
 0.25 cup Berries (1/4 cup of each: Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries)

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.

Begin by cracking an egg and only allowing the white to run into a bowl.

Add some Stevia to it (or whichever sweetener you prefer) and whisk until frothy.

Go ahead and add the remaining spices you'd like to use, and whisk until fully blended this time.

Add your walnuts into the bowl and work them until thoroughly covered with mixture.

Pour mixture covered walnuts into a greased baking pan and let bake for 25 minutes. (Be sure to check every 5 minutes or so and eventually stir nuts so they wont stick to the pan.)

Once that time is up, take them out and let cool for about 5 or so minutes.

Now, begin spooning out your hemp hearts into another bowl. (half the above ingredients into two separate bowls like we did, or in one bowl with the above quantities if you prefer.)

After this, add your coconut milk, yogurt and whipping cream to the hemp hearts and mix until it resembles oatmeal. (Be sure to add more sweetener and spices to taste!)

Once that's complete, top it off with the coconut flakes, berries of your choice, and nuts.

Cover bowl(s) with plastic wrap and place in fridge overnight for a sweet breakfast or a healthy dessert!
